“The prizegiving ceremony of Design Prize Switzerland took place in the Langenthal Market Hall on Friday, 30 October 2015 for the thirteen time. Out of 42 Nominations, the international jury awarded prizes to a total of 12 outstanding products and projects, as well as to the designers, entrepreneurs and institutions behind them.”

Claudiabasel (interview here) with FHNW in Basel designed the Doing Fashion Paper project which won the Communication prize. Mugi Yamamoto (interview here) with his Stack printer project won the Rado Star Prize Switzerland for Young Talents. The SWISS TEXTILES Prize for Young Fashion and Textile Entrepreneurs awarded the fashion designers huber egloff (interview here).

The Merit prize was given to Elric Petit, Augustin Scott De Martinville and Grégoire Jeanmonod from BIG-GAME (interview here). “In awarding them the prize, the jury paid tribute to their influence on Swiss design creativity and their boost to its international reputation. The prize is to be seen not least as an encouragement to the three young designers to continue consistently on the path they have embarked on.”
